This is yet another glorious day for the Vancouver Maritime Museum as we had the draw for the raffle’s grand prize winners this afternoon.
The winner of the grand prize small-ship expedition Iceland to Greenland In the Wake of Vikings with Adventure Canada was R. Woodward.
The winner of the second prize, a cold weather kit from Helly Hansen was G. MacDonald.
In total we managed to raise $23,000 through raffle ticket sales. A very large portion of this money will go to the museum directly.
We are truly grateful to all of you for your ongoing support to this museum, especially in these challenging times, so here is a big THANK YOU to all our supporters – but also to our two great sponsors Adventure Canada and Helly Hansen. We hope and trust that we can entice you to support us again emotionally and financially before too long – with Giving Tuesday, Year End and – hopefully – another Raffle for next year just around the corner.
