Bridge to Learning

For over ten years, the Bridge to Learning program at the VMM has provided schools in the Lower Mainland with fully subsidized field trips to the museum. Eligible schools include those with financial barriers or those that serve at-risk or special needs students. Bridge to Learning covers the cost of a school program, a self-guided tour (free time exploring the museum) and charter bus transport for classrooms free of charge.

Accessible Education

All students should have the opportunity to enrich their learning experience. Programs outside the classroom help engage students more deeply with the curriculum. Students can touch objects, see artifacts and learn through hands-on play. The Bridge to Learning program addresses this need for Lower Mainland students.

The Bridge to Learning program is open to students from kindergarten to Grade 12.

Bridge to Learning is fully funded by the generous support of our donors. To learn more about supporting accessible education, contact development@vanmaritime.com
