New Safety Measures
With the recent announcements of new restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19, our first thoughts were about visitor and staff safety at the VMM. Museums have not been included in the restrictions, but we need to do our part.
With that in mind we’ve made a few changes.
- Ticket sales are now online only. Until now, we’ve allowed some in-person ticket sales.
- Fewer tickets sold each hour. We will be selling only 20 tickets each hour.
- Masks are 100% mandatory. We understand that some people are unable to wear a mask due to health conditions, but our staff has concerns about being exposed to unmasked members of the public. We must act in the best interest of our staff and other visitors, and so we invite those of you who are unable to wear a mask to visit once masks are no longer required.
And it goes without saying that we’ll continue with strict cleaning protocols and all other COVID-19 safety measures. We thank all of you for understanding and we wish you a happy and safe Easter weekend.
