Your opinion matters

IMPORTANT: FREE VISIT PROMOTION NOW CLOSED

Thank you to all the amazing people who participated in this survey! We’ve exceeded our goals for responses, and if we continue to give out promo codes for a free visit, we worry that too many people will be unable to book their free visit.

Your opinion remains valuable to us. We will leave the survey up until May 7. If you would like to share your thoughts about the museum we encourage you to complete it.

The survey responses will be used to inform a new strategic plan for the Vancouver Maritime Museum.

It’s still a great time to visit the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Family passes are only $38.  Our current feature exhibitions include:

  • Canoe Cultures :: Ho’-ku-melh – War Canoes and the Gifts They Carry Forward – This exhibition features the work of 20 Indigenous artists and carvers.
  • Walking Under Water: Hard Hat Diving in and Around Vancouver – There are some fun selfie opportunities in this micro-exhibition.
  • Underwater World – This cozy corner of the museum is just for kids.
  • Steaming Ahead: SS Master and the Tugs that Worked the Coast – This exhibition explores the impact that early steam-powered tugs had on industry and coastal communities.

And of course, everyone enjoys climbing aboard the historic St. Roch, the first ship to make the west-east traverse of the Northwest Passage. There are new panels in St. Roch shelter to explore. They tell parts of the St. Roch story we haven’t displayed before.
