Virtual School Programs

The Vancouver Maritime Museum offers a variety of curriculum-based programs for school groups of all ages. Trained staff and volunteers lead students through hands-on activities that stimulate creative and critical thinking.

We run virtual programming on Zoom. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a link for a Zoom meeting. You don’t need a Zoom license as the museum is hosting the meeting.

What you need

For a virtual program you’ll need a strong internet connection and a laptop or tablet with a mic. Students with no access to the internet can call in using a local phone number.

An adult must provide group management and help with the Q&A portion.

Advanced booking is required.

Pricing

Virtual school programs are $120 per class. You can add another class to your booking for $35.

Policies and fees:

Cancellations made a week or more before the date booked will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 24 hours before but less than one week prior will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before.
