British Army Officer's Marching Compass. Compass card floats in oil and is seen from glass portal on face. A sighting scope flips up from side and protective case flips in opposite direction with two sighting bars mounted inside. Compass card shows cardinal points and then two inner rings are graded into smaller increments. Compass points with cardinal and inter-cardinal points are engraved on outside of case. A heavy ring is mounted to side to allow compass to be secured. On base is engraved TG Co Ltd / London / N9B 285350 / 1944 /MK III.
