Museum Mate Meet-Cute is a fun, low-pressure social evening where adults can mingle, explore, and enjoy the museum in a whole new way.
Join museum curator ermen dellicarpini and Phyllis Hull for a private gallery tour featuring highlights from the collection—including some graphic, R-rated artifacts not usually on public display.
Sip a drink from our wine and cider bar, enjoy Drag performances by What the Frock Productions, team up for trivia games, and try a hands-on craft inspired by the sea. Capture the night with fun photo opportunities throughout the museum.

Zella Bones
International burlesque performer and composer on the Autism spectrum, Zella Bones scratched their claws across the UK and parts of Canada, spreading advocacy for disability rights and neurospiciness in their 8″heels. They performed and composed alongside Geekenders, Fetish Theatre, Rock with the Foxes, Babes in the Bush Burlesque, Disability Collective and many more. They graduated with a Masters’ degree in Music Composition from Goldsmiths University from London, England, so they are ready to fight, kick, scratch and lure!

Phyllis Hull is a campy, bearded British drag queen and the creative force behind What The Frock Productions, a Vancouver-based company dedicated to making drag and live entertainment more accessible and affordable. Through high-energy shows, interactive experiences, and community-focused events, Phyllis and WTF bring people together to laugh, celebrate, and connect.
