Pleased To Meet You is a new exhibit featured in one of the main galleries at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
Pleased to Meet You highlights objects that have not yet been on display in our galleries. The exhibit is also comprised of pieces whose stories brought joy to the Vancouver Maritime Museum’s staff as the curatorial team worked through their ongoing collection inventory.
Excited to be given the opportunity to steward the Vancouver Maritime Museum’s collection, new curator ermen dellicarpini shares some of the remarkable stories that lay hidden on the shelves of collection storage.
From expectation-shattering 1800’s mathematician and inventor Janet Taylor to the underwater drift mission of the PX-15 Submersible (codename Ben Franklin), you will learn about some of the unique and remarkable artifacts housed in the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
